Merry Christmas from P5.

We have been learning about the Terracotta Warriors. The children learned to take notes as they watched a video and then wrote superb non-chronological reports. They then created their own Terracotta Warriors,  using clay. They are displayed in class and look fantastic .

The children have thoroughly enjoyed their China project. It has been great to see how much they have learned and to see their enthusiasm for the project. A huge thank you to all parents who have supported the children with their homework. They were all so excited to share their learning with their classmates on Friday mornings.

After the holidays, we will be starting our new topic which has a focus on an aspect of Scotland’s history.

In maths the children have been working very hard to learn to divide using the “chunking” method. In January we will be starting a unit on money and finance.

Everyone in Primary Five wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we hope you enjoy our performance of “Hoodwinked” this week.
