P2-4

Photographs of our Learning!

Hello. We have been so busy learning lots of new things in Primary 3 Blue. We wanted to show you what we have been learning during March.

March 3rd was World Book Day! We dressed up as some of our favourite book characters. We made some monster bookmarks and read ‘The Gruffalo’ in Scots.

We have been learning about the Russian painter Wassily Kadinksy. He painted his feelings using shapes and colours. We looked at one of his famous paintings called ‘Circles’. We made our own circles pictures using oil pastels.

In Maths we have been really busy learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10 or 100. We say a little poem to help us remember how to round to the nearest 10.

In R.E we have been learning about the 12 apostles. We know that the first two apostles were called Peter and Andrew and they were fishermen.

In Health and Wellbeing we have been looking at a balanced diet and have been learning all about the different food groups. We can name different foods and put them into the correct food group.

We made Easter cards with Mrs Croxon to help raise money for SCIAF. Thank you to all the boys and girls who bought them!

To celebrate Easter Monday the whole school went to Seaton Park to roll eggs. We had great fun! The Primary 7’s organised an Easter egg hunt for us in school.
