This term we have been learning some new letters. So far, we have been working on the letters r,m,d,e,ck. We have used lots of ways to learn the letters and make new words. Have a look!

We also made bean burgers in class to help us remember the sound ‘m’.

In Numeracy, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. 2D shapes are flat and 3D shapes are solid. We used cocktail sticks and marshmallows to make 3D cubes and cuboids. We also made some brilliant rocket 2D shape pictures for Bonfire Night.

In Science, we worked with Mrs Jadid to investigate the temperature that water freezes to make ice. We used thermometers to measure the temperature.
