First Week of Primary 1

It has been lovely to have the new Primary 1’s in class together this week. We have had lots of fun learning and making new friends both indoors and outdoors. Here is a little selection of what we have been up to.

We have all painted a self portrait for our classroom, we have enjoyed playing in the sand and building sand castles, playing with the bubbles and also a nature scavenger hunt. We also made some bird feeders and have had lunch this week in the dinner hall with the other classes from our bubble.

We joined in with assembly on Monday and did Mrs Martin’s task of going to see the statue of Mary in the school garden and decorating some Hail Mary prayers with nature.

All of the Primary 1’s have done so well and the families should be so proud of them.
