Term 4

In term 4 P3 is going back in time! Our IDL this term is a trip back in time and we are going to learn about the Romans.

In Design and Technology we will be building our time machine, we will also build Roman bridges and make Roman shields and jewellery.

In Maths in April and June we will focus on addition and subtraction. We will make sure we can add and take away mentally up to a hundred and above using our knowledge of place value and regrouping. In Maths we will also look at Symmetry and patterns. In June we will learn more about measuring, weight and capacity.

In Literacy we will continue to learn one sound a week and we will work on spelling harder words.

In Writing we will focus on writing stories, articles and instructions.

In PE we will work on Athletics-running, jumping and throwing. This will get us ready for our Sports Day in the Sports Village in June.
