End of Term 1

We have lots of exciting things happening this year. We have the Christmas Pantomime, the Big Sing, swimming lessons and preparing for our First Communion. 

This term our IDL topic was ‘Our Democratic World’ where we looked at our rights, needs and wants. With the opportunity to hold elections for pupil council. We also have the IDL topic of ‘Myths and Legends’  where we are looking at myths around the world and Kelpies into term 2.

In literacy we have progressed onto the big cat reading scheme to develop our reflective reading skills.

In numeracy we have focused on place value, symmetry and addition

Our PE focus was Tennis and football where we will develop lots of different tennis and football skills. We will also continue our weekly sports coaching sessions.

With Mrs Jadid we have been looking at biodiversity in Science.

We look forward to an exciting and busy year ahead.
