P4 Term 2

Welcome back! We have a very busy term ahead. 

This term we will be finishing our IDL topic of ‘Myths and legends’. We have had so much fun making clay sculptures, stop motion animation and letting our imaginative side out with our CYPIC writing. We will then move onto ‘Performers and performances’ which focuses on our Panto performance.

In literacy we will continue with our Big Cat guided reading and weekly reflective reading. We are so very close to reaching the 100 club in CYPIC for connectives. We will then move onto focusing on Openers.

In numeracy we are focusing on estimation and rounding, money and finishing our work on Symmetry/ angles. 

Our PE focus is football, Hockey and Fitness where we will develop lots of different skills to improve our performance. We will also continue our weekly sports coaching sessions.

With Mrs Jadid we will continue to look at biodiversity in Science.

Mrs Binkowicz will focus on the themes of Healthy, Nurtured and Achieving through Health and Wellbeing.

We are looking forward to all our exciting events leading up to Christmas!
