Parliament Week – P6 Debating

Pupils worked in groups to establish “for” and “against” arguments to take to their opposition for “the great debate”. Should Junk Food Adverts be banned?

Each speaker stood to address the class.

Because we had thought about our contributions, we knew what we wanted to say.

The class enjoyed having the opportunity to take part in a debate and responding to a variety of arguments. Well done Primary 6 for thinking about your arguments so carefully and a special well done to our two “Speakers of the House”!
