Primary 1 have been very busy. We are enjoying lots of different activities in the sand box area in the mornings. Here are some of the things we have been up to-
- using the pine cones and sticks to create fairy gardens
- painting leaves
- painting stones to turn them into ladybugs
- digging in the sand
- practising our letters and numbers in the sand and also with chalk on the playground
- drawing our shadows with chalk.
We have also been learning indoors
-learning our letters and sounds. Practising them in various ways with paint, pencils, stampers – and writing them in foam and glitter too. We have also enjoyed using the whiteboards and the letter and number roads with cars to practise on.
As you can see from the photos, we have been learning about feelings when reading ‘The Colour Monster’ story and we made our own colour monsters too. We enjoyed our first RADS football session and look forward to more in the coming weeks.
Everyone in Primary 1 has done so well.
